「捨得,是為了更寬廣的餘地」大李設計從減法中重構生活的圓滿

Abundance is rarely born of excess, but of sufficiency—the intuitive clarity of knowing what to keep. In a culture that urges "more," choosing "less" is an act of courage. By filtering the superfluous, L11 Studio creates space for the essential. "Letting go" is an active design strategy, carving out margins for life to breathe within a finite footprint.

The solid door shuts out the city’s noise. Inside the 82-square-meter residence, the entry is not defined by storage, but by enclosure. A curved ceiling and soft, diffuse light create a ritual of transition. Light washes over tactile walls, acting as a psychological filter. The architecture softens rigid corners into gentle guides, silently welcoming the inhabitants home.
Moving inward, the view expands. The design team employed a reductive approach, using curvilinear forms to wrap heavy beams and resolve limited natural light. This intervention dissolves visual pressure, reclaiming volume for the three-generation family. For the first time, sunlight penetrates deep into the plan, symbolizing the family's cohesion.

The palette layers stone, leather, and metal to create depth within a stable, greige tone. Despite the density of five residents, the space breathes, transforming physical proximity into genuine connection.
The dining area anchors the home. It is the hub for homework, tea, and conversation. A cloud-like pendant hangs above a curved timber table, contrasting with the stone sideboard’s weight. Tucked discreetly above is a mezzanine play area—a hidden pocket where generations share the joy of play.

The private quarters shift towards stillness. The master suite continues the muted narrative, anchored by a marble headboard with delicate grain. Symmetrical lighting frames a scene of pure reduction, stripping away complexity to leave room for rest.

The power of a home lies in its quiet moments. L11 Studio honored the client’s trust in "subtraction." When complexity is removed, what remains is a pure dedication to living well. The client’s simple declaration—"I want this home"—was a pursuit of essence.
By transcending the physical to touch the emotional, this modest footprint becomes a sanctuary. It stands as a testament: only by understanding what to release can life arrive at wholeness.
