在替無數人的住宅勾勒過理想藍圖後，室內設計師面對自己的居所，往往是更深入地探尋內心的需求。抽離過去對於風格或特定語彙的框架包袱，這一次，根本設計總監 Mia 卸下所有外界設定，為自己與家人築起的避風港。當生活歷經喧囂而沉澱，所追尋的不再是刻意定義的裝飾符號，而是一場對生活狀態最直白且自由的實踐。Mia 以此為初衷，在日光與微風的點綴下，拋開繁複的堆疊，讓整體氛圍從進門的沉靜自然過渡到開放客餐廳的溫暖，為一家人開啟了全新生活的舒心全貌。

After drafting ideal blueprints for countless clients, an interior designer approaching their own home often turns into a deeper conversation with themselves. Setting aside the familiar frameworks of style and established design vocabulary, Gen Ben Design's principal Mia has, this time, let go of every external expectation to create a haven for herself and her family.
When life has weathered its share of noise and finally settled, what one seeks is no longer a deliberately curated set of decorative symbols, but the most honest and uninhibited expression of how one truly wants to live. With that as her starting point, Mia allowed daylight and gentle breezes to do the work, stripping away unnecessary layers and letting the atmosphere transition naturally from the stillness at the entrance to the warmth of the open living and dining area, unfolding a new chapter of comfort for the whole family.

開啟一段奇幻旅程，用童趣與自然輕喚歸途
推開家門，迎面而來是一場帶有魔幻寫實況味的溫柔序曲。作為每天迎接家人歸來的第一站，玄關被賦予獨立且靜謐的性格。Mia 大膽採用濃郁橄欖綠塗料作為背景，與地坪鋪設帶有特殊機裡的日本窯變六角磚相互襯託，在微光折射下，隨著視角移轉泛起深淺不一的幽微色澤，宛如林間月光在葉片上的斑駁殘影。
一旁優雅地嵌入溫潤質樸的藤編門片，以天然材質的呼吸感，輕柔地平衡壁面的厚重，搭配轉角端景處一幅充滿藝術與童趣意象的月夜畫作靜靜佇立，體現玩心奇幻感，也成為玄關的靈魂，似乎悄悄預告著接下來這個空間所要展開的奇幻之旅。

Whimsy and Nature at the Threshold
Open the front door, and what greets you is a soft overture touched with magical realism. As the first stop that welcomes the family home each day, the entryway is given its own distinct, contemplative character. Mia made the bold choice of a deep olive-green paint as the backdrop, paired with Japanese kiln-fired hexagonal tiles on the floor whose special texture shifts in tone under the light, revealing subtle gradations that change with every angle, like fragments of moonlight filtering through a forest canopy.
Set into one side, a rattan-paneled cabinet door adds warmth and tactility, its natural materiality gently balancing the weight of the surrounding walls. At the corner, a painting filled with art and childlike wonder depicting a moonlit night stands quietly as the entryway's defining soul, a playful, fantastical note that seems to whisper of the journey the rest of this home is about to unfold.

如雲朵般的隱形分界，與暮光共譜的流動軸線
跨入開闊的公共場域，玄關的沉靜在不經意間稀釋，轉為一片明亮輕柔。大面開窗的先天優勢，引領著開放式客餐廳與廚房向陽台敞開，城市的流動與大片天光灑落入室內。Mia 捨棄制式實體隔間，巧妙地運用天花板上蜿蜒的多道曲面線板，讓流暢柔和的弧形如雲朵般在頂部舒展開來，自然而然地在天上劃出廚房中島、沙發區與圓形餐桌的隱形分界。
圓潤且帶著幾何趣味的廚房中島成為開放式公領域的重心，檯面特別選用帶有自然紋理的橄欖綠大板磚，與沙發區那組墨綠色皮革沙發相互呼應。日光穿透紗簾灑落，在塗料牆面與灰調地坪上拉出一道道緩慢移動光影。整體空間的色彩與材質以大地色和綠意為主，與溫潤米白揉織成生活底色，全家人在此沖咖啡、談天、駐足，動線似有若無地串聯，每個人都能在自由開放的氣氛中，輕易拾起屬於日常的鬆弛感。

Living Under Soft Curves
Step into the open common area and the entryway's quiet intensity dissolves, almost without notice, into something bright and soft. Generous windows give the open-plan living room, dining area, and kitchen a natural advantage, stretching toward the balcony where the rhythm of the city and broad daylight pour in. Rather than conventional partitions, Mia introduced a series of curving plaster mouldings that meander across the ceiling, their fluid arcs spreading overhead like clouds, effortlessly delineating invisible zones for the kitchen island, the sofa area, and the round dining table.
The kitchen island, rounded and playfully geometric, anchors the open common space. Its countertop features olive-green large-format tiles with natural veining, echoing the dark green leather sofa nearby. Sunlight filters through sheer curtains, drawing slow-moving shadows across the painted walls and grey-toned flooring. The overall palette stays grounded in earth tones and greens, woven together with a warm off-white that forms the backdrop of daily life. The family brews coffee here, lingers in conversation, pauses in passing. The circulation feels both present and invisible, and everyone finds it easy to settle into the kind of unhurried ease that belongs to the everyday.

靜謐如昨的時光見證，收納日常思緒的復古一隅
沿著走廊朝深處探索，空間氛圍再次轉折，宛如另開闢出一處安頓思緒的秘境。為了創造因應不同心情而待的獨立角落，書房被刻意規劃成溫暖的私領域。特別選用濃鬱而內斂的朱紅色作為基調，非但沒有帶來視覺的壓迫，反而散發著溫柔的包裹感，安穩地梳理日常所有的起伏情緒。
書房牆面上，一整面北歐經典老件壁掛書櫃（Royal System）成為時光見證。沉木色的層板上錯落有致地擺放著書籍與屋主的平日收藏，在復古壁燈的暖光渲染下，與藤編單椅、風巢簾交織出極具溫度的時光。關上電視牆旁的滑門，外界喧囂便被徹底隔絕；這裡是允許自己在忙碌之餘，與內心對話的港灣。

A Vintage Retreat in Vermilion
Follow the corridor deeper in, and the atmosphere shifts again, as though the home has quietly opened up a hidden retreat for sorting through one's thoughts. Designed as an independent nook for moments that call for a different mood, the study was deliberately conceived as a warm, private domain. A rich, restrained vermilion red sets the tone, yet rather than closing in, it radiates a gentle sense of enclosure that steadies the emotional rhythms of daily life.
Along one wall, a full display of the Nordic classic Royal System shelving stands as a quiet witness to time. Books and personal collections are arranged with casual precision on its dark timber shelves, bathed in the warm glow of vintage wall sconces and accompanied by a rattan armchair and honeycomb blinds that together compose a scene of genuine warmth. Close the sliding door beside the television wall and the outside world is shut out entirely. This is a harbour where, amid the busyness, one is allowed to sit with one's own thoughts.

一探奇幻故事的終點，色彩交織下的溫柔歸宿
穿過廊道，牆面的藝術畫作持續述說著故事。畫中豐富的大地色與綠意，正是全屋核心的串聯語彙，從玄關的復古墨綠、客廳中島的橄欖綠大板磚，一路優雅地延伸進私領域，在不同角落靜靜呼應。這裡不但延續柔和的弧形線條，但在色彩的份量感上，變得更加大膽且具個性。

Where the Palette Comes Full Circle
Continue through the corridor, and the paintings along the walls keep the narrative going. The rich earth tones and greens within the artwork are, in fact, the connective thread running through the entire home, from the vintage deep green of the entryway to the olive-toned tiles of the kitchen island, extending gracefully into the private quarters and quietly resonating across every corner. Here, the soft curving lines carry forward, but the colours grow bolder and more personal.

主臥室的天花板鋪陳著優雅的粉灰色調，並別出心裁地將寶藍色線板色塊刻意下沉，刻劃出鮮明的份量，既增加空間層次，也將視覺重心輕輕向下收攏。房內那幅延續自玄關主題的童趣畫作，與寶藍色的布藝床頭、線條優雅的單椅內斂交織，搭配造型洗鍊的橙色壁燈，將白日裡過度活躍的感知安穩地包覆。當視線移轉至更衣室，內部的櫃體以低調沉穩的橄欖綠與全室色彩串連，美學與機能達到完美平衡。
而另一側的次臥則以清新的淺綠色塗料，配上地面的幾何織毯與童趣的米菲兔燈，充滿生機與靈氣。從進門時的奇幻序曲，到最終在溫馨暖意中入眠，空間故事的延續性在此處得到了最完美的落幕。

In the primary bedroom, an elegant pinkish grey covers the ceiling, while a deliberate drop of royal blue moulding introduces a striking sense of weight, adding spatial depth and gently drawing the eye downward. The whimsical painting that continues the entryway's theme interplays with the royal blue upholstered headboard and a gracefully lined armchair, joined by a sculptural orange wall lamp that wraps the day's overstimulated senses in something steady and calm. In the walk-in closet, cabinetry in understated olive green ties back to the home's broader palette, striking a seamless balance between aesthetics and function.
The secondary bedroom, by contrast, takes on a fresh light green, with a geometric rug and a playful Miffy lamp bringing a sense of life and spirit to the room. From the fantastical overture at the front door to the warmth that carries one into sleep, the continuity of the home's story finds its most complete resolution here.

Through flowing lines and carefully attuned soft furnishings, Gen Ben Design has both divided and connected the home's stillness and warmth, composing an intimate journey that returns to the essence of living once all presets have been released. In the moment when the evening light falls into the home, the meaning of this new life, and the quiet everyday one has long been searching for, has already found its answer before sundown.
